    I also had iv (port) rutuxin for smzl was in remission for 5 years. I just found out today it came back so my oncologist is gonna do rutuxin again along with another med I forgot the name of the new med but he doesn't want me to start any treatment for atleast 2 to 4 months from now because its early smzl so he said it would be best to wait 2 to 4 months unless I have symptoms,which I haven't had any symptoms . he found out it just came back today thru blood work & CT scan. I thought I was good since its been a lil over 5 years

    I wish I can found someone would listen to me. After the second shot from Pfizer. My lymph nodes in my armpits and base of my neck had swollen five days after overnight. They tell me I have CLL and Pfizer is why!!!!!!!

    Why they didn’t biopsy that first lymph node is CRAZY!

    • @roselucht4583
      @roselucht4583 24 дня назад

      The large lymph node and certain labs clearly can point to a lymphoma. I have Invasive lobular breast cancer. Among the assorted scans then a biopsy of an enlarged lymph node in my retroperitoneal abdomen showed I have Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. In one week I will be having a double mastectomy, they’ll see with the lymph node biopsies if the B cell NHL has spread to those breast areas under my arms.

    15 months of treatment stage 1 HER 2 positive. Did every treatment - margins clear and lymphnodes all clear. I am very lucky that I caught it in time. My onocologist and surgeon agreed to treat it aggressively. Also checked myself out with gynecologist and gastroenterologist - all clear. I have to be diligent on follow ups. STAYING POSITIVE IS KEY.

    The biopsy should have been done before the rest of the undetermined tests in my opinion. When a lymph node does not go away after months and it’s grown or not it should be required to be biopsied. I’m glad to hear this was discovered in months and you had a great doctor by your side. Hope you’re doing well. 🙏🏻 Thank you for this information as I’m currently researching non stop for my 15 year old with a swollen lymph node that has grown in months. Was referred to specialist who will hopefully give us a date for a surgical biopsy and praying and hoping all is well. 🙏🏻

    this video seems to fail to mention that the cystectomy requires to remove not only the bladder but also the prostate seminal vessels. they do mention an option of nerve sparring surgery but it is very hard to spare nerves when the surgeon is in the pelvis for close to 5 hours.

    I too went through the same situation of having to make a determination of whether to go with a neo bladder or an ileal conduit. In 2010 I was diagnosed with bladder cancer and went through years of TURBT and BCG installations. In 2017 my cancer had progressed up my left ureter so it was then time to have the bladder removed. The bladder, my prostate and my left kidney were removed at that time. There was a study done in 2015 that I had read about the quality of life issue one year post-op between the neo bladder and the ileal conduit. People who went with a neobladder had much higher rates of incontinence compared to the ileal conduit, which most of the time involves no incontinence or leakage. I have been using a product called the stealth belt in connection with the Hollister appliance and my life has completely returned to normal. I can't imagine as I've seen in other videos of having to be awakened every 2 hours at night with an alarm to see if I have to go urinate. I can't imagine having to travel, go to concerts, go to ball games, and have an incontinence issue hit it that time. And from what I've read, the nocturnal incontinence is a major problem with the neobladder because you do not have the normal feelings you did with your original bladder. Also there is the issue of the mucus building up inside of the neo bladder which can cause stones and this is not an issue with the external appliances because the appliances is changed out twice a week. Anyone going through this I highly recommend going to a very confident surgeon, I went to Penn medicine, and get excellent advice.
